Title: Diagnosis Value of the Transvaginal Doppler Ultrasound in Women with Postmenopausal Bleeding
Abstract: Objective To discuss the diagnosis value of the transvaginal gray-scale and Doppler ultrasound in women with postmenopausal bleeding. Methods 194 women with postmenopausal bleeding underwent transvaginal gray-scale and Doppler ultrasound examination. We analyse the sonographic characteristics and the endometrial thickness and morphology and changes of hemodynamics, which were compared with the outcomes of pathologys. Results It seems justifiable to lead a periodical increment and refrain from curettage in patients with a transvaginal sonographic endometrial thickness3.0 mm. The differences between malignant and benign endometriums was distinctly in the endometrial thickness and morphology and changes of hemodynamics(P0.05). Conclusion The rate of diagnosis of the transvaginal Doppler ultrasound is rather high,we can use it as an efficient examination method in women with postmenopausal bleeding.
