Title: The influence of 5-ASA on the expression of NF-κ B in ulcerative colitis of rats
Abstract: Objective:To observe the expression of NF-κ B in ulcerative colitis model rats and to explore its possible mechanism of expression. Methods:Using 2,4-two nitrochlorobenzene to prepare models of ulcerative colitis, and then divide them into normal control group, model control group and 5-ASA group.5-ASA group received the 5-ASA solution enema treatment for 7 days, and then serum IL-4,IL-6 levels were tested and NF-κB expression in colonic mucosa was analyzed. Results:Compared with that of normal control, serum IL-6,NF-κB expression in colonic mucosa of model control group and 5-ASA group increased significantly(P0.05),level of IL-4 decreased(P0.05);after the treatment, serum IL-6,NF-κB expression in colonic mucosa of 5-ASA group was significantly lower(P0.05) than the model group, but still higher than that of normal control group(P0.05),IL-4 levels increased significantly(P0.05) than the model group, but still less than the normal control group(P0.05).Conclusion:Excessive activation of NF-κ B can increase the production of proinflammatory factor of IL-6,inhibit the release of anti-inflammatory cytokines of IL-4,and involve in the occurrence of ulcerative colitis.
