Title: In Vivo Immunomodulatory Activities of Neutral Polysaccharide (DDP1-1) from Dendrobium denneanum
Abstract: The in vivo immunomodulatory activities of the neutral polysaccahride extracted from Dendrobium denneanum were evaluated by using the transplantable models of S180 in mice. The different concentrations of neutral polysaccahride were given to the mice every day by intraperitoneal injection respectively, with CTX as the positive control and normal saline as negative control. These mice were anatomized after 14 d,and their blood samples were obtained from eye orbitae. Then, the tumor inhibition ratio, immune index and the concentration of cell factors(TNF-α,IL-2 and IFN-γ) were investigated, respectively. The results showed that the immunomodulatory activities were related to the concentration of the polysaccharide. At 1.25 mg/mL,the polysaccharide exhibited higher tumor inhibition ratio and immune index(P0.01).DDP1-1(1.25 mg/mL) could improve the immunomodulatory effect of the mice by increasing the concentration of TNF-α,IL-2 and IFN-γ(P0.01) in serum.
