Title: CURING REACTION KINETICS OF SPIRO ORTHOCARBONATE/EPOXY RESIN SYSTEM
Abstract: Curing behaviors and exothermic peaks of spiro orthocarbonate/epoxy resin system were discussed by DSC(differential scanning calorimetry).The kinetic parameters of the curing reaction,including the activation energy,reaction frequency factor,reaction order and so on,were calculated by the equations of Kissinger and Crane.It was demonstrate that the activation energy and reaction frequency factor of the system were increased,the reaction order was kept constant,and reaction rate was decreased sharply by the addition of the expanding monomer into the epoxy resin.In addition,the onset curing temperature,the peak curing temperature extrapolated to warm-up temperature rate β=-273 ℃/min and the treating temperature,which were helpful for determination of the curing process technology,were investigated.
