Title: Clinical research of acupuncture combined with Tongxinluo capsule in the treatment of hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage
Abstract: Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of acupuncture combined with Tongxinluo capsule in the treatment of hypertensive in-tracerebral hemorrhage on clinical nerve function deficit score and Barthel index of activities of daily living. Methods 120 patients using digital random table method were randomly divided into three groups, conventional medicine group(40 cases) 、acupuncture group(40cases) and acupuncture combined with Tongxinluo capsule group(40 cases). The acupuncture group treated with acupuncture beside conventional medicine group and Tongxinluo capsule was added in acupuncture combined with Tongxinluo capsule group. Clinical efficacy was evaluated after one month. Results The nerve function deficit score of three groups were significantly reduced after treatment( P0.01) and there were significantly differences in the three groups(P0.01). acupuncture combined with Tongxinluo capsule group reduced most.; The markedly effective rate was as follows: 22.5%, 52.5% and70%, respectively among the three groups. There were significantly differences in the three groups( P0.01). acupuncture combined with Tongxinluo capsule group was highest. The total effective rate was 60%,95% and 97.5%, The acupuncture group and acupuncture combined with Tongxinluo cap-sule group were significantly higher than the conventional medicine group(P0.01), but no difference between the two groups. The Barthel index of activities of daily living were significantly increased after treatment(P0.01), and there were significantly differences in the three groups(P0.01).acupuncture combined with Tongxinluo capsule group increased most. Conclusion Acupuncture can improve the neurological deficit score, improve the quality of activities of daily living, reduce the life dependence of patients with cerebral hemorrhage and the action is more significant with Tongxinluo capsule.
