Title: Investigation on expression of cyclin G1 and infection of HPV subtypes in cervical carcinoma
Abstract: Objective:To explore the relationship between expression of cyclin G1 in cervical intraepithelial neoplasia (CIN) and cervical carcinoma and infection of human papillomavirus (HPV) subtypes. Methods:The expression levels of cyclin G1 in biopsy specimens or paraffin-embedded specimens after operation from 20 cases of normal cervical tissues (control group),44 cases of CIN (CIN group) and 28 cases of cervical carcinoma (cervical carcinoma group) were detected by immunohistochemical method, the HPV subtypes of cervical cast-off cells before operation were detected by flow-through hybridization and gene chip technique. Results:The positive rate of cyclin G1 expression showed a increasing trend in control group,CIN group and cervical carcinoma group, there was significant difference in multiple comparison (P0.05); the infection rates of HPV,high risk HPV and HPV16 increased, there was significant difference in multiple comparison (P0.05); in cervical carcinoma group, there was a positive correlation between expression rate of cyclin G1 and infection rates of high risk HPV (γ=0.382,P=0.045) and HPV16 (γ=0.519,P=0.005).Conclusion:The high expression of cyclin G1 in cervical carcinoma may be related to oncogenesis of cervical carcinoma; there is a positive correlation between cyclin G1 in cervical carcinoma and high risk HPV,and their synergy effect may induce the oncogenesis of cervical carcinoma.
