Title: Percutaneous Biopsy Under CT-guided of Difficult and Complicated Thoracic Lesions
Abstract: Objective:To study the technique and clinical significance of percutaneous aspiration biopsy under CT-guided of difficult and complicated thoracic lesions. Methods:There were 52 cases including 41 lung nodules,8 mediastinal masses and 3 pleural lesions, the cases selected for biopsy were those when the pulmonary or pleural lesions were ≤3 cm in diameter, not seen or poorly visualized on conventional radiographs;in a juxtavascular location, either hilar or mediastinal. Results:The successful rate was 100%.Of 52 cases there were 30 malignant cases, the diagnostic sensitivity was 86.7%,the specificity was 100% and the accuracy was 92.3%,pneumothorax was presented in 15 cases.Conclusion:(1)The accurate localization and operation are the key of successful biopsy;(2)The percutaneous biopsy under CT guided can be performed in almost all cases with thoracic lesion sexcept those cases who can not cooperate during the process;(3)Because of it′s high sensitivity, specificity and accuracy for malignant percutaneous biopsy under CT guided have importment clinical significance for diagnosis of thoracic lesions.
