Title: Difference of blood lipid in patients with cerebral infraction and cerebral hemorrhage
Abstract: Objective To explore the difference of serum lipid in patients with cerebral infraction and cerebral hemorrhage. Methods Total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL) and very low density lipoprotein cholesterol(VLDL) were measured in three groups,183 patients with acute cerebral infarction,45 patients with cerebral hemorrhage and 150 normal control subjects.Compare the level of lipid in these groups. Results The levels of TC,TG and LDL were significantly higher and the levels of the HDL was significantly lower in patients with cerebral infarction than those in the controls. There were the lower levels of TC and LDL in patients with cerebral hemorrhage than those with cerebral infarction. Conclusion Higher levels of TC,TG,LDL and lower levels of HDL are the risk factors for cerebral infarction, but lower levels of TC and LDL may be the risk factors for cerebral hemorrhage.
