Title: Effects of Different Irrigation Quotas on Water Consumption and Yield of Winter Wheat
Abstract: The effects of irrigation quota on the growth, water consumption and yield of winter wheat were analyzed. Results showed that:in jointing and heading stages, smaller irrigation quota was not good for the quick growth of plant height;Water consumption was larger in seeding-jointing and grouting-maturation stages with smaller daily water consumption while water consumption was smaller in jointing-heading and heading-grouting stages with higher daily water consumption; There was little effect on length and numbers of grain under different irrigation quotas. The larger irrigation quota was,the larger thousandkernel weight and yield were, but the smaller grain numbers and water use efficiency were. The irrigation quota of 900m3/hm2 is recommended to save water and improve the yield.
