Title: Practice and Effects of Scenario Training on Improvement of Junior nurses' First-aid Abilities
Abstract: Objective: To explore the effectiveness of scenario simulation in junior nurses' first aid training. Methods: Totally 144 nurses with work duration less than 3 years from 24 departments were trained with the application of following mode, knowledge teaching-subentry first-aid skills exercise-synthetical simulation drilling-evaluation. Results: After training, their first aid techniques, skills of operating equipments, first aid knowledge and first aid capabilities significantly improved (P0.01). Conclusion: Scenario simulation training could improve junior nurses' first aid capability, which is an ideal in-service training method for junior nurses.
