Title: The Exploration for the Improvement of Emergency Response Capacity of Junior Nurses
Abstract: Objective:To investigate the training methods of improving the emergency response capacity of junior nurses and their effect.Methods:Nursing department arranges for 48 nurses who have got nurse certificates to work at intensive care units and emergency rooms by turns for advanced training of one month,with different training programmes for the nurses of different professional background.The chief nurses with high professional quality and ability took charge of training the nurses in the first aid theory and first aid skills.All these nurses were asked to take examinations in the theory and the skills given by the departments in which they worked for advanced training.Result:48 nurses'results of theory exams average 91.8 points and their results of skill exams average 88 points.Conclusion:Developing training programs and training evaluation plans according to the characteristics of special nursing can greatly contribute to fixing the training direction,to making continuous progress in professional ability and to improving the emergency response capacity of junior nurses.
