Title: Isolation and Identification of a High Phytase-Producing Bacillus Strain from Soil
Abstract: 45 soil samples were collected from different areas in Henan province.More than 80 phytaseproducing Bacillus strains were isolated and purified by isolation medium. The phytase activity of Bacillus was detected with vanadium-ammonium molybdate colorimetry, and the high phytase producing Bacillus was screened and identified by the colony, morphology, microscopic morphology in combination with the physiological and biochemical feature and 16S rDNA sequence. The results showed that the strain with the highest phytase activity of 552 U/mL,named B.Ld2-C,is obtained and identified as Bacillus sphaericus(B. spaericus),which can form spore and have the ability of anti-acid,ati-bile salt and high temperature. It has laid a good foundation as a probiotics feed additives.
