Title: Ultrasound monitoring clinical value on nasopharyngeal carcinoma neck metastatic lymph nodes
Abstract: Objective To determine the changes of nasopharyngeal carcinoma neck metastatic lymph node before and after radiotherapy by ultrasound monitoring, and the value of radiotherapy and then make appropriate treatment plans. Methods Monitored by color Doppler ultrasound,168nasopharyngeal carcinoma patients treated with radiation therapy are well-established by clinical and pathological. Then a comparative observation are carried on to examine 225neck metastatic lymph nodes in long diameter(L),short diameter(S),long diameter and short diameter(L/S),peak systolic velocity(PSV),resistance index(RI),blood flow intensity. Results The comparison of before radiotherapy and radiotherapy for 4weeks after the 225neck metastatic lymph nodes L,S,L/S,PSV,RI,flow intensity had significant difference. Conclusion Ultrasound imaging tests evaluate neck metastatic lymph nodes radiotherapy treatment efficacy and prognosis judgment has important clinical value.
