Title: Histological studies on the distribution ranges of apocrine glands in axillary osmidrosis patients
Abstract: Objective To explore the distribution ranges of apocrine glands in axillary osmidrosis patients.Methods 29 cases with axillary osmidrosis had been treated by combination of pruning and removing of apocrine glands.The distribution range and depth of apocrine glands had been identified by pathohistological methods.Results Apocrine glands distributed vertically in deep layers of the dermis,dermal-adipose junction,superfical adipose and distributed planely within 0.5 cm of hair.Conclusion Treatment of axillary osmidrosis should completely remove apocrine glands but not persuit minimally invasive surgery.
