Title: Improved Standard Iarge Trauma Craniotomy for Treatment of Severe Traumatic Brain Injury Clinical Observation
Abstract: Objective To observe the improved standard large trauma craniotomy surgical treatment of severe traumatic brain injury effects. Methods 56 cases of severe traumatic brain injury patients, according to the different surgical methods are divided into the modified group and control group of 28 cases each.Control group using conventional decompressive craniectomy. The modified group improved standard large trauma craniotomy. Results Improved postoperative total efficiency was significantly higher, mortality was significantly lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).Improved postoperative GCS score was(14.25±2.92),(7.64±2.52) compared with the preoperative significantly higher postoperative GCS score of the control group was(11.32±3.23),compared with the preoperative(7.72±2.75) was significantly elevated, but improved postoperative GCS score significantly higher, the difference was statistically significant(P 0.05).The intervention group had postoperative bleeding, incisional hernia, epilepsy, cerebrospinal fluid incision to drain the number of cases significantly less than the control group were no case of intracranial infection. Conclusion The modified standard large trauma craniotomy for treatment of severe craniocerebral trauma efficacy precise, fewer complications, can significantly improve the prognosis of patients,it is worth the promotion and application.
