Title: Physiological effects of kiwifruit lamina under high temperature stress
Abstract: The kiwifruit was treated with different time period of high temperature stress, and the physiological index changes in leaves of kiwifruit were determined, such as the content of chlorophyll, leakage of electrolyte, content of MDA,activities of antioxidant enzymes, content of endogenous antioxidants and heat shock protein under high temperature. The results indicated that under high temperature stress, the content of chlorophyll decreased, and leakage of electrolytes and content of MDA increased. The activities of antioxidant enzymes (SOD,POD,CAT,APX) increased under first period of temperature stress ((0-4) hour),and then decreased. The content of ASA was decreased,GSH increased from 0 to 4 hours, decreased from 4 to 10 hours,GR and proline content increased during all the period. Therefore,it suggested that kiwifruit was injured under high temperature.Meanwhile, the protecting and adaptive mechanisms of plant were initiated to protect plant under high temperature stress.
