Title: Regulation of β-adrenergic receptor activity during ischemic preconditioning
Abstract: Objective: The aims of this study were to detect the regulations of adrenergic receptors during ischemic preconditioning to offer the basic material for designing pharmocological preconditioning. Methods: By using radioligand bind assay, membrane recptors of the heart muscle cells were quantited in Bmax and Kd βvalue of AR pre and post three cycles of 5 min ischemia. Results: The ischemic preconditioning increased βBmax and Kd value of AR. Conclusion: β The ischemic preconditioning increased Bmax and Kd value ofAR, which may be one of the main mechanisms of ischemic preconditioning.
