Title: Clinical efficacy of Budesonide inhalation therapy on Mycoplasma pneumonia in children
Abstract: Objective To discuss clinical efficacy of Budesonide inhalation therapy on Mycoplasma pneumonia in children.Methods 100 children of mycoplasma pneumonia from January 2010 to December 2011 admitted to our hospital were randomly divided into treatment group and control group,each group of 50 cases.Two groups were given comprehensive treatment of azithromycin of anti-infection.The treatment group were also treated with Budesonide inhalation therapy.Improvement of clinical symptoms and signs,improvement time of absorption of inflammation showed by lung X-ray and length of stay were observed and compared between two groups.Results Compared with the control group,time of fever,cough,wheeze,lung wet dry rale and wheezing disappearance and improvement time of absorption of inflammation showed by lung X-ray and length of stay more significantly shortened(P0.05).Total effective rate of treatment group was 96%,while 82% of control group,and there was significant difference between the two groups(P0.05).Conclusion Budesonide inhalation therapy can effectively alleviate the mycoplasma infection-induced intractable cough and wheezing and other clinical signs and symptoms with confirmed effects in the treatment of mycoplasma pneumonia in children.
