Title: Synthesizing Adipic Acid with H_3PW_(12)O_(40)/ZrO_2-WO_3 as Catalyst
Abstract: Catalytic activity of H3PW12O40/ ZrO2-WO3as the catalyst was evaluated in the synthesis of adipic acid. The different reaction parameters such as catalyst dosage,reaction temperature,volume of hydrogen peroxide and reaction time were discussed and the best reaction conditions were found. The optimum conditions are: fixed cyclohexanone 0. 10 mol and n( cyclohexanone) ∶ n( H2O2) ∶ n( H3PW12O40/ ZrO2-WO3) = 100∶ 294∶ 0. 1( dosage of H3PW12O40/ ZrO2-WO3is 0. 3g,volume of H2O2is 30mL),reaction temperature is 110 ℃,reaction time is 3h,the yield of adipic acid is 44. 7%. Experimental results showed that H3PW12O40/ ZrO2-WO3is a catalyst for synthesis of adipic acid.
