Title: Feng Xue-feng as a Poet —A Souvenir of His Birthday
Abstract: While Feng Xue-feng was known as a Marxist theorist of art and literature, he was a good revolutionary poet. Most of his new poems, which appeared at the early of 1920s and 1940s, reflect his journey of how he shifted from a democratic youth to a proletarian fight, and how his features of poems shifted from simple beauty to complicated beauty. And the fact that he insisted on the individual creation, on the virtuous character, on the unity of art and ideology, enlightens us in the poetic creation.
