Title: Study on Hemodynamic Changes on Multi-slice CT Perfusion Imaging in Primary Hepatocellular Carcinoma with Portal Vein Tumor Thrombus
Abstract: [Purpose]To study hemodynamic changes on multi-slice CT (MSCT) perfusion imaging in primary hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC) with portal vein tumor thrombus (PVTT). [Methods] MSCT perfusion imaging was performed with a spiral CT scanner in 84 patients. Total hepatic blood flow(HBF), hepatic blood volume(HBV), mean transit time(MTT), permeability surface (PS) and hepatic arterial fraction (HAF) were measured. [Results] Compared with the positive control group B, the HBF and HAF of the tumor tissues in test group A increased significantly [(435.31±89.21)ml/(100g·min) vs.(365.71±67.38)ml/(100g·min), (0.87±0.26) vs.(0.72±0.23)], and also the HBV and HAF of the PVTT in test group A [(44.72±11.62)ml/100g vs.(30.38±28.61)ml/100g, (0.93±0.14) vs.(0.72±0.23)] (P0.05). However, the MTT of the tumor tissues in test group A was shorter significantly than that in positive control group B [(5.73±4.28)s vs.(8.22±3.51)s, P0.05]. Compared with the negative control group C, the HBF, HBV and HAF of the hyperperfusion abnormality tissues in test group A increased significantly. [Conclusion] MSCT perfusion parameters may reflect the hemodynamic change of HCC with PVTT.
