Title: Expression of protein kinase C for renal injury of ischemia reperfusion after ischemic preconditioning in rats
Abstract: OBJECTIVE To investigate the role of protein kinase C for the renal injury of ischemia reperfusion after ischemic preconditioning in rats. METHODS Rats were randomly divided into three groups, the pathological changes of renal tissue were observed and the expression of protein kinase C in different reperfusion time was measured by immunohistochemistry.RESULTS The histopathologic score of renal tubules in ischemic preconditioning group was lower than that in ischemia reperfusion group and was similar to the control group. The expression of protein kinase C in ischemic preconditioning group was higher than that in ischemia reperfusion group, and at reperfusing for 2h or 6h, the expression of protein kinase C in ischemic preconditioning group was higher than that in control group. CONCLUSION The ischemic preconditioning has the protective effects for the renal injury of ischemia reperfusion in rats.
