Title: Sources and Distribution of the Hui Nationality of Guangdong during the Period of Ming-Qing Dynasties
Abstract: The Hui people in Guangdong mostly were from other provinces during the period of the Ming-Qing Dynasties,including those in Northwest China,North China,Central China,South of the Yangtse River,and Northeast China.Seen from their occupation,they were mainly garrison soldiers,officials and their households,businessmen,visitors and exiled persons.Seen from the migratory characters,they were administrated by the government or compelled to transplant.They were mainly distributed and concentrated in PRD where Guangzhou and Zhaoqing are the centers,and in other areas distributed sporadically.They mostly had the blocks on their own in cities and villages on their own in the country.Later the Hui Nationality of Guangdong went on moving to other the provinces and to Hong Kong and Macao.
