Title: The Influence of the Customs of Yi People to Other Various Nationalities on Western Area of Guizhou Province from Ming Dynasty to the Early Qing Dynasty
Abstract: The residents were mainly Yi people on western area of Guizhou province from Ming dynasty to the early Qing dynasty,and the chieftains were the spokesman of feudal dynasties,who delegated feudal governments to control local various nationalities.That is to say,the headmen of Yi became the supreme controllers who had the privileges to control and have jurisdiction over various nationalities on this area.So under the framework inhabited by several various nationalities and long common life on western area of Guizhou province,Yi people were taken as main nationalities,whose customs of marriage,funeral,festival,clothing and so on have had influenced other various nationalities importantly,profoundly and lastly.
