Title: Soil Characteristics of Evergreen Broad-Leaved Forest in Fengyang Mountain
Abstract: Soil nutrients on different slope(east slope, west slope) and soil horizon(0-10cm,10-30cm,30-60cm) of evergreen broad-leaved forest were measured and analyzed in Fengyang mountain Nature Reserve. The results showed that only in pH,ammonium nitrogen and available phosphorus the East Slope and the West Slope have significant differences, and the remaining nutrients are not obvious. While the West Slope and Valley exist significant differences in pH,ammonium nitrogen, total phosphorus;Within soil nutrient, only the pH increased with the depth of the soil horizon, while organic matter, total nitrogen, total phosphorus and available nutrient show A horizonB horizon C horizon respectively, and the A layer is significantly different from the B layer and the C layer at P = 0.05 level;Relevant analysis between various nutrients shows that pH with the most nutrients have remarkable inverse correlation,Both between the organic matter, the total nitrogen, the hydrolisis nitrogen, the available phosphorus, the available potassium and the total phosphorus with the total nitrogen, the C/N with the organic matter all display extremely remarkable correlation. We found from soil main fertility that the soil quality in east slope is higher compared to west slope, which can goodly satisfy the nutrients plant need.
