Title: Distribution Rules of the Main Nutrients in the Soils of Barren Mountains in the Southern Jinan
Abstract: Relationship between soil components and geographical features of the barren mountains in southern Jinan was studied to provide theoretical data for the plan making of afforestation in the area. The results showed that: as the slope position moved down, the contents of soil organic matter, available nitrogen, and available phosphorus increased, the soil thickness increased, and the soil gravel content decreased;the contents of soil nutrients and gravel content in sunny slope were higher than those in shady slope, while the soil thickness was significantly thinner in sunny slope;Soil nutrients and soil thickness decreased markedly as the slope grade increased except for the grave content; There was no regularity for available K and pH.
