Title: Spatial Heterogeneity of Soil Salinity in Middle and Lower Reaches of Manas River Basin
Abstract: 【Objective】Basic characteristics and regional distribution research in arid inland area are the foundation of saline soil and salinity research work.【Method】Manas River basin was the research subject of this article. We chose typical salt accumulation zone that saline soil distributed widely on three types of landscape in the middle and lower basin of Manas River. On the basis of analysis and measurement for soil samples of our study,to study the spatial variability and classification of saline soil this basin were studied.【Result】Our results showed that soil salinity composition and content of different landscape were very different. As saline soil in the alluvial fan margin of middle reaches of the watershed is a chloride-sulfate type, type of soil in the alluvial plain of middle and lower reaches are chlorides, and located in the lower delta is sulfate-chloride type. The pH values among three landscapes is characteried by strong alkaline and alkaline, the CV is less than 10%,and the CV of soil salinity is the secondary.【Conclusion】By the correlation analysis of soil moisture, total salt and the salt ions, the results showed that the correlation between salinity and Na+ is markedly correlated, but the correlations of other components in different landscapes were not consistent.
