Title: Temporal-spatial Distribution of Soil Salinity Profile Types in the Yellow River Delta
Abstract: Types of soil salinity profiles and its temporal-spatial distribution characteristics in the Yellow River Delta were studied and discussed through analyzing data of soil salinity profiles collected in May 2002 and October 2003 and May 2006,respectively.Compared to May 2002 and October 2003,topsoil congregative type of soil salinity profiles increased in May 2006.The results showed that the temporal-spatial distribution pattern did not alter basically from May 2002 to May 2006,and the topsoil congregative type of soil salinity profiles was the majority in the Yellow River Delta, which indicated that the risk of soil salinization was great, and the level of amelioration and rational utilization for saline soils needed to be improved further in the Yellow River Delta.
