Title: Research on Two-step Conversion Process to Make Potassium Sulfate from Phosphogypsum
Abstract: The process conditions for two-step conversion of phosphogypsum to make K2SO4 are obtained from single factor experiment: The optimal experimental condition for the first-step reaction is reaction temperature 35 ℃, reaction duration approximately more than 90 min, n( Ca SO4) /n( 2NH4HCO3) is 0. 9,where the phosphogypsum conversion η( SO2-4) is up to 59. 86%; The optimal experimental condition for the second-step reaction is reaction temperature 50 ℃,reaction duration approximately 60 min,n[( NH4)2SO4) ]/n( 2KCl) is 1,potassium chloride conversion η( K+) =30. 12%,where the w( K2SO4) is approximately 69. 3%.
