Title: Clinical comparative study of PPH and Milligan-Morgan hemorrhoidectomy for ring mixed hemorrhoid
Abstract: Objective To compare the clinical effects of PPH and Milligan-Morgan for the treatment of ring mixed hemorrhoid ring mixed. Methods 156 ring mixed hemorrhoid cases were randomly divided into group A (PPH group) and group B (control group) of the 78 cases, respectively of PPH and Milligan-Morgans. The surgery time, wound healing time, hospital stay time and postoperative pain index, anal function, the occurrence of postoperative complications were compared in two groups. Results All patients original symptoms had been effectively controlled. Surgery time, wound healing time, hospital stay time and postoperative pain index, anal function in group A were better than in group B. In group A anal pressure before and after operation did not change, but significantly decreased in group B. Conclusion Compared with Milligan-Morgan, PPH is more and safe effective, and hemorrhodectomy has shorter surgery time, less hospital time, rapider recovery, fewer complications.
