Title: Simultaneous determination seven co-existed organic toxicants in working area by gas chromatography
Abstract: Objective:To study and develop a method for simultaneous determination of ethyl acetate,butyl acetate,butanone,benzene,toluene,xylene,and butanol by using gas chromatography.These seven organic toxicants often co-exist in working area.Methods:Adopt a method based on gas chromatography with gradient temperature,big-bore capillary gas chromatography column,and extraction with organic solvent for sample preparation.Results:Under optimized experiment conditions,peaks for these seven compounds are well separated.The recovery efficiency for standard doping is from 87.9% to 99.1%.The limit of detection is 0.22~1.4 μg/ml.The regression coefficient is 0.997 in the recommended concentration range.Conclusion:This method is capable to simultaneously determine these seven co-existed organic toxicants in working area.This method has a wide linear response range,high accuracy,and simple and fast procedures.
