Title: Effects of remifentanil preconditioning on the heart induced by ischemia reperfusion injury in rabbits
Abstract: Objective To observe the effect of remifentanil preconditioning on the heart induced by ischemia reperfusion injury in rabbits. Methods Thirty rabbits were randomly divided into normal control group(group C),group R1 of remifentanil preconditioning(group R1) and group R2 of remifentanil preconditioning(group R2).The model of hearts ischemia/reperfusion was established. The reperfusion was performed after 30 min ischemia in the hearts.Group C was treated by sodium chloride 10ml/h.Group R1 was treated by remifentanil 1.65 ug· kg-1· min-1 and group R2 was treated by remifentanil 3.3ug· kg-1· min-1 in 30 min.The animals were killed at 360 min reperfusion and left heart tissues was removed and observed structure of heart with light microscope and electron microscope. Results Light microscope and electron microscope showed that the heart cells was almost normal for group R1 and group R2 by remifentanil preconditioning. The heart cells for group C was injury seriously. Conclusion Preconditioning with remifentanil in the large dose group increased significantly as compared with that in the small dose group, which protect the cells for heart induced by ischemia reperfusion injury and remain the stability for the heart cells.
