Title: The Value and Limitation in Comparative Research of Educational Policy
Abstract: As a branch field of comparative education, the researchers of education policy comparison have undergone three stages, from the diachronic comparison of a country to the horizontal comparison of specific theme,and then to focus on the system of making- policy. Comparative research on educational police presents the characteristics of a coin, which has two sides. On the one hand, it has shown internal significances in three dimensions such as reconstruction of thinking logic, clarification of text context and perfection of paradigm orientation; On the other hand, it can hardly get out of the policy limitation caused by global- localization, value conflict, irrational rhetoric and cultural prejudice. In order to well make comparison of educational policy in concatenation, it needs to take integrated position, policy knowledge, evidence- based research to standardize it.
