Title: The Achievement and Lessons of the Evolution of the Educational Principle in China in 1980's
Abstract: The article traces history of evolution of educational principle in China in 1980's and summarizes it's achievements : reform ended politicizing deviation on value judgment of education in theory and practice around period of the Cultural Revolution;it got rid of limitation of thought setting up by the Cultural Revolutionand it initiated a new period in which theory and practice centered on development of economy and served socialist construction. But there were some limitations in reform of guiding principle in 1980's:the reform failed to completely correct a fundamental deviation of ignoring individual's all\|around development physically and spiritually as a result of putting unreasonable emphasis on social function of education, which is reflected in value judgment of education in guiding principle, which led to softening and ignoring some crucial function in 1980's, such as reasonable requires of politics,the individual's development. On this basis, article puts forwards some principles that should be followed by formulating educational principle which are scientific property,normalization,accuracy,validity and operation.
