Title: Observation of Breviscapine and 654-2 on peripheral neuropathy caused by diabetes mellitus
Abstract: Objective To observe the clinical effect of Breviscapine and 654-2 on peripheral neuropathy caused by diabetes mellitus.Methods 133 patients with variant degree of peripheral neuropathy caused by type 2 diabetes mellitus were randomly divided into treatment group(n=67) and control group(n=66).In addition to orally adminisered hypoglycemic medicine and injected insulin,patients in the treatment group were venous given Breviscapine 100 milligram and 654-2 10 milligram dissolving into 0.9% sodium chloride injection once everyday,patients in the control group were intramuscularly injected Vitamin B_1 100 milligram and Vitamin B_(12) 500 μg twice a day.Foreteen days was a therapeutic course.Results The total effective rate in the treatment group was 80%.Hemorheology in the treatment group obviously improved.Compared with the control group,there was a significant difference(P0.05).Conclusion The combination of Breviscapine and 654-2 has a definite effect on peripheral neuropathy caused by siabetes mellitus.
