Title: Fussy Translation and Translation of Technical Terminology
Abstract: There are many different kinds of standards of translation both at home and abroad, but it’s widely accepted that the translation should be faithful to the original text, whose premise is to fully understand the information thereof. This paper discusses, from a new angle, how the translator makes full use of his/her subjective initiative and make the relatively accurate translation in case he/she lacks the full knowledge of the original text and gets no help from the professional personnel. There occurs the concept of “relatively accurate translation”, exemplified by some examples about terminology translation.
