Title: Exprssion of Survivin and Livin in NSCLC and Its Clinical Significance
Abstract: Objective To investigate the expression of Survivin and Livin of apoptosis inhibitors and it's clinical significance in non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods The expressions of Survivin and Livin were assessed by S-P immunohistochemical staining in postoperative samples from 52 patients with the diagnosis of non-small cell lung cancer as well as adjacent normal tissue than 5 cm.Results The expression level of Survivin and Livin was higher in NSCLC tissue samples than that in adjacent tissue samples(61.54% vs 5.00%,48.08 vs 0.00%,P0.05).The expression level of Survivin was significantly associate with the adenocarcinoma(P0.05) and expression level of livein was closely relate with lymph node metastasis in NSCLC(P0.05).The expression level of Survivin had no Significant correlation with that of Livin(rs=0.193,P0.05).Conclusion The expression of Survivin and Livin is upregulated in NSCLC.Survivin protein expression is associate with histological types of NSCLC patients.High Livin protein expression might indicate the transfer of NSCLC.Survivin has no significant correlation with Livin protein.
