Title: A Comparative Study on Chinese and Western Views of Children
Abstract: The logic thinking about children's view is different between China and western countries, which can be analyzed from the following aspects:First,they comes to the same conclusion that children's world isfull of‘should'world,but the starting points are quite different:Scholars in western countries from theevil natureperspective,Chinese scholars fromceremonyangle.Second, ancient Chinese literature presents children's world asa world full of games,but western found their theory on Plato'sidealtheory.Third,based on the Taoist thought,Chinese scholars have been thinking that children's world is anideal world,since the renaissance times in western countries.Fourth,China is short of the theory on instrumentalism,so it lacks the revival of children standard theories.Fifth,the western psychology and early Chinese thinking are the same,namely children's world is anignorant world.Sixth,both Chinese and Western educational thoughts recognize theinteractiveview of children.
