Title: Three-dimensional Finite Element Analysis for Slope of Chute Section of Spillway in Dongqing Hydropower Station
Abstract: Taking the Dongqing Hydropower Station for an example,three-dimensional finite element method is applied to analyze the deformation and stability of slope of chute section of spillway in different conditions during the construction period and the operation period.For ensuring slope safety,reinforcement plan of prestressed cables and system anchors should be adopted under strengthening the monitoring.The results show that the risk of tension and shear yield may occur in both sides of steps of entrance of chute section;storm and earthquake are the most important factors for influence of slope stability;when considering both of storm and earthquake,the slope will be more dangerous;the preventive measure taken is practicable.
