Title: Extraction and Decolouration Technology for Polysaccharide from Lycium barbarum in Xinjiang
Abstract: [Objective] The study aimed to optimize the technology conditions for the extraction and decolouration of the polysaccharide from Lycium barbarum in Xinjiang.[Method] The single factor experiment and orthogonal test were used to study 4 factors influencing the yield of the polysaccharide from L.barbarum and confirm the optimum technology conditions for extracting the polysaccharide from L.barbarum.The single factor experiment was used to determine the model of the macroporous resin, study 3 factors influencing the decolouration of the polysaccharide from L.barbarum and confirm the optimum conditions for the decolouration of the polysaccharide solution from L.barbarum.[Result] In the polysaccharide extraction test, the effects of 4 factors on the yield of the polysaccharide from L.barbarum were in order of extraction temperature extraction time extraction times ratio of material to liquid;the optimum extracting conditions were as follows: the material-liquid ratio of 1 ∶20,extraction temperature of 80 ℃,extraction times of 3 and extraction time of 3 h.In the decolouration test of the polysaccharide solution,AB-8 macroporous resin got best the decolouration effect;the temperature was the main factor to influence the decolouration of the polysaccharide solution from L.barbarum and followed by the material-liquid ratio and decolouration time;the optimum decoloration conditions were that the decoloration temperature was 60 ℃,the material-liquid ratio was 1 ∶7 and the decoloration time was 3 h.[Conclusion] The study provided the reference data for the development and utilization of the L.barbarum resource.
