Title: Research on the Efficacy of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine Combined with Rehabilitation Therapy for 78 Cases of Stroke Hemiplegia
Abstract: Objective To explore a comprehensive therapy which takes advantages of traditional Chinese medicine,acupuncture and modern rehabilitation training for stroke hemiplegia and study its clinical efficacy.Methods 156 patients with hemiplegia due to stroke admitted in our hospital in recent years were selected and randomly divided into control group and treatment group with 78 cases in each.The control group was given acupuncture treatment while the treatment group was given a comprehensive therapy of traditional Chinese medicine,acupuncture and rehabilitation training.The treatments of the groups were recorded and the efficacies were compared and analyzed.Rank sum test was accomplished by SPSS software.Results The total effective rate of the treatment group was 97.4%,significantly higher than the control group's 88.5%;the cure rate and effective rate was 57.7% and 29.5%,higher than the control group's 43.6% and 20.5%.There was statistically significant difference in efficacy between the two groups(P=0.0080.01).Conclusion The efficacy of comprehensive therapy in the treatment of stroke hemiplegic is remarkable and it is worthy of clinical practice.
