Title: Effects of High-fat Diets and Endurance Training on p53 and IL-6 Expression of Gastrocnemius Muscle in Rats
Abstract: Aim:To investigate the effects of high-fat diets and endurance training on p53 and IL-6 in rats' gastrocnemius muscle. Methods:Twenty-eight male SD rats were randomly and equally divided into four groups:Control group with high-fat diets (H),Endurance training group with high-fat diets (R),Control group with ordinary diet (C),Endurance training group with ordinary diet (E). The rats were sampled after 8-week exercise training. 24h after the last training, the rats were killed ,gastrocnemius muscle were excised quickly for ELISA. Results:(1)The p53 expression of gastrocnemius muscle in E group was downregulated significantly, compaired with C(p0.05),but there is no significant change in H and C,as well as R and E; (2) the IL-6 expression of gastrocnemius muscle in H group was upregulated significantly, compaired with C (p0.05),that in R was also upregulated significantly, compaired with E(p0.05).But there is no significant change in C and E. Conclusion:High-fat diets could not only lead to inflammatory reaction when rest, but also bring about a series of improvements to athletic body; endurance training could delay aging of the muscle,The expression of IL-6 would adape to the long-term endurance training.
