Title: The Effect of Endurance Training on the Expression of Retinol-binding Protein 4 in Type 2 Diabetes Rats
Abstract: The purpose of the present study was exploring the effect of eight weeks’ endurance training on the expression of Retinol-binding Protein 4(RBP4) in type 2 diabetes rats. Methods: 48 SD rats was divided into 3 groups at random: Group A,type 2 diabetes rest group(n=8);Group B,endurance training group(n=8),Group C is the control group(n=8).Group B was trained 8 weeks(6 times/week).Group B was trained in 30,40 and 50 min continuously in the first three days in the first week, respectively. And they were trained 60 min/day from the 4th day in the first week. Results: The expression of RBP4 of Group A and B is significantly higher than Group C(P0.01,respectively).In addition, after 8 weeks endurance training,RBP4 expression of Group B is significantly higher than the 4th week(P0.01).However,there’s no significant changes in the epididymal fat tissue and liver tissue(P0.05,respectively).Conclusions: Eight weeks endurance training can reverse the RBP4 expression in the type 2 diabetes rats, but there is no significant changes in the liver tissue.
