Title: Detection of microvascular density and expression of PTEN, P53 in non-small cell lung carcinoma tissue
Abstract: Aim: To study the relationship between microvascular density (MVD) and the expression of PTEN and P53 proteins in non-small cell lung carcinoma(NSCLC).Methods: MVD and the expression of PTEN,P53 proteins were detected in 75 cases of NSCLC tissue using SP immunohistochemical method.Results: MVD in adenocarcinoma was significantly higher than that in squamous carcinoma(P0.05). MVD in lung carcinoma tissue at stage Ⅲ~Ⅳ was higher than that at stageⅠ~Ⅱ.MVD in lymph node metastasis group was higher than that without lymph node metastasis(P0.05). MVD in lung carcinoma with positive expression of PTEN was lower than that in lung carcinoma with negative expression of PTEN.MVD in lung carcinoma with positive expression of P53 was higher than that in lung carcinoma with negative expression of P53.Conclusion:The lower expression of PTEN and higher expression of mutant P53 in NSCLC tissue can lead to the increase of MVD, and suggest bad prognosis.
