Title: The Changes of Serum Levels and Clinical Significance of IL-17,IL-10 and TGF-β in Patients with Chronic Hepatitis C After Treatment of PEG-IFNα
Abstract: Objective To study the expression of serum IL-17,IL-10 and TGF-β in patients with chronic hepatitis C,and to investigate the changes of the three cytokines after treatment of PEG-IFNα.Methods The serum levels of IL-17,IL-10 and TGF-β in 20 patients with chronic hepatitis C before and after treatment of PEG-IFNα were determined by ELISA.Results The serum levels of IL-17,IL-10 and TGF-β in patients with chronic hepatitis C were significant higher than those in normal controls(P0.001),the levels of IL-17,and IL-10 decreased obviously(P0.001) in responsive patients after treatment.-Conclusion IL-17 and IL-10 may participate in the pathogenesis of chronic hepatitis C and may be correlation with histological inflammation. The important clinical significance is showed in judging the result of antiviral treatment.
