Title: The X-ray and CT Diagnosis of Early Peripheral Pulmonary Carcinoma
Abstract: Objective: To analyze the X-ray and the CT features of early peripheral pulmonary carcinoma and to evaluate the effect of the X-ray and the CT in the diagnosis of peripheral pulmonary carcinoma. Methods: The X-ray and the CT features of sixty five cases with early peripheral pulmonary carcinoma(d 3cm) proved by operation and pathology were studied retrospectively, and analyze statistically the accuracy of the two imaging methods. Results: The basic manifestations of CT in the 65 cases were as fallows: lobulated sign; spiculation sign; bronchiologranl sigh; blood vessels concentraling to the lesion and pleural retraction. The accuracy of the CT diagnosis was better than the X-ray diagnosis. Conclusion: The CT scan should be choiced once the X-ray check found solitary pulmonary nodule. Master the basic CT manifestations of the early peripheral pulmonary carcinoma play an important role in the correct diagnosis.
