Title: Trabeculectomy Combined with Tenonectomy for Treatment of Chronic Angle-closure Glaucoma
Abstract: Objective To investigate the clinical effect of trabeculectomy combined with tenonectomy in the treatment of chronic angle-closure glaucoma.Methods Trabeculectomy combined with tenonectomy were performed on 35 cases(46 eyes) with chronic angle-closure glaucoma.Results The average intraocular pressure(IOP) was reduced from(26.90±5.90)mmHg to(14.30±5.50)mmHg after 1 week of operation(t=9.69,P0.05).The visual acuity was not changed obviously.There was not serious postoperative complication.Conclusion Trabeculectomy combined with tenonectomy was safe,effective prcess for the treatment of chronic angle-closure glaucoma
