Title: Investigation and Analysis of the Use of Antibiotics in Outpatient Prescription
Abstract: Objective Analysis the use of antibiotics in outpatient dispensary to understand its application status and evaluate its rationality,so as to guide rational use of the drugs.Methods 3600 prescriptions of Western medicine were randomly sampled from prescriptions used in outpatients of our hospital in April to July 2012.The categories of antibiotics,frequency of use,combinations of different kinds of antibiotics in them were analyzed.Results In the 3600 prescriptions sampled randomly,there are 874 cases to use antibiotics,involving 7 categories.The percent in total numbers of prescriptions is 24.28%.In the 874 cases,the percent of prescriptions of oral antibiotic drugs is 64.42%,the percent of injected ones is 35.58%,and the percent of combinations of different kinks of antibiotics is 11.55%.Conclusion The frequency of the use of antibiotics in outpatient dispensary of our hospital was high comparatively.The use of antibiotics was rational on the whole.However,there still exist some problems to be improved.
