Title: The Relationship between Community Health Workers′ Job-Leaving Intention and Job Satisfaction,Organization Commitment
Abstract: Objective To study the community health workers′ job-leaving,job satisfaction,and organization commitment,and to investigate their influencing factors and the relationship among the three aspects in Shenzhen.Methods A total of 326 community health workers in 50 community health service centers (or station) were selected by randomly cluster sampling.Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ),Organizational Commitment Scale (OCQ) and self-made job-leaving intention questionnaires were taken in the survey.Results The community health workers′ job-leaving intention,job satisfaction,and organization commitment act on one another in a certain degree.Among them,job-leaving intention was obviously negatively correlated with job satisfaction and organization commitment(P0.05),and job satisfaction was closely correlated with organization commitment(P0.05).The community health workers′ level of salary expectation had a great influence on the three aspects.Conclusion Community health workers′ job-leaving intention depend upon their job satisfaction,organization commitment and their salary expectation.
