Title: Investigation on Job Satisfaction and Organizational Commitment and Turnover Intention of Non-active Civilian Nurses in Military Sanitarium
Abstract: Objective To study the non-active civilian nurses' job satisfaction,organization commitment and turnover intentions as well as their interrelation and the affecting factors.Methods Sixty non-active civilian nurses were surveyed with questionnaires on job satisfaction measurement,overall job satisfaction measurement,organization commitment and turnover intention.Results There were mutual influences of different degrees among the three factors.A close positive correlation was identified between job satisfaction and organization commitment,and a salient negative correlation was observed between turnover intention,job satisfaction and organization commitment.Their salary expectation had impact upon all the three factors.Conclusion The administrators of sanatorium should attach more focus on their employees' requirements in order to increase their satisfaction feeling,improve their organization commitment and reduce the turnover rate.Raising employees' salary may reduce the nurses' intention of demission.
